Het is een generieke versie van Neurontin en wordt veel gebruikt wanneer zenuwgerelateerde pijn of epileptische aanvallen onvoldoende reageren op andere behandelingen.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Hoe werkt Gabapentin 300 mg?<\/strong> Gabapentine bindt aan de \u03b12-\u03b4-subeenheid van spanningsafhankelijke calciumkanalen in het centrale zenuwstelsel. Dit vermindert de afgifte van exciterende neurotransmitters, waardoor de abnormale zenuwactiviteit die verantwoordelijk is voor epileptische aanvallen en chronische neuropathische pijn afneemt. Ondanks de structurele gelijkenis met GABA-receptoren, interageert het niet rechtstreeks met deze neurotransmitter.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Belangrijkste toepassingen<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>Behandeling van postherpetische neuralgie (zenuwpijn na gordelroos)<\/li>\n<li>Behandeling van perifere neuropathische pijn (bijv. diabetische neuropathie)<\/li>\n<li>Aanvullende therapie voor parti\u00eble aanvallen bij volwassenen en kinderen (\u22653 jaar) met epilepsie<\/li>\n<li>Off-label gebruik kan onder andere de behandeling van rusteloze benen of angst omvatten, onder medisch toezicht.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Dosering en toediening van gabapentine 300 mg<\/strong> De gebruikelijke startdosering voor neuropathische pijn is 300 mg op dag 1, 600 mg\/dag op dag 2 en 900 mg\/dag op dag 3, waarna de dosis wordt verhoogd tot een maximum van 1800-3600 mg\/dag, verdeeld over drie doses. Voor epilepsie is de dosering vergelijkbaar en wordt deze aangepast aan de respons. De capsules moeten in hun geheel met water worden doorgeslikt en kunnen met of zonder voedsel worden ingenomen. Dosisverlaging is noodzakelijk bij pati\u00ebnten met een verminderde nierfunctie. Stop de behandeling niet abrupt zonder medisch advies.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Kwaliteit en samenstelling<\/strong> Gabapentine 300 mg wordt doorgaans geleverd in witte of gele harde gelatinecapsules met de opdruk \"300 mg\" of fabrikantcodes. Abrupt stoppen kan epileptische aanvallen of ontwenningsverschijnselen (angst, slapeloosheid, misselijkheid) veroorzaken.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Gabapentine 300 mg biedt effectieve verlichting van
